Emma Schmeling, CFP®, EA

Emma joined Baird in 2024 and currently serves as a Wealth Planning Associate II based in Denver, Colorado.

In her role as Wealth Planning Associate, Emma partners with clients and their advisors to bring together the many moving pieces of each client's financial plan. She strives to make complex planning approachable, helping clients feel informed and supported as they make decisions that reflect what matters most to them and their long-term goals.

Emma graduated with a BS in Personal Finance-Financial Planning and a major in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Emma's time there helped shape her interest in financial planning and literacy, along with a broader perspective on how policy and economic forces influence financial decision making. Since graduating, she has also obtained CFP® and Enrolled Agent (EA) designations.

Although Emma will always be a Wisconsinite at heart, she has happily made Colorado home. When she is not working, you can find her spending time with friends and family, out on the trails with her dog Buck, trying out new recipes, or working her way through the latest New York Times games.
